Seminar which featured Royal Armouries Curator of Oriental Collections, Natasha Bennett, Gurinder Singh Mann and Taran Singh, both of The Sikh Museum Initiative, as they showcase three Sikh objects that have been rendered in stunning 3D. This project aims to bring these treasures to life in amazing detail and make them more accessible for new and wider audiences in a virtual museum. Natasha, Gurinder and Taran will talk about the history of the objects, their importance in Sikh culture and the process and capabilities of the 3D scans. This fascinating process uses cutting-edge techniques to re-imagine museum objects as visually stunning digital pieces.
