There has been a long history linking the Sikhs to the British since the eighteenth century. This history is relatively unknown and requires an initiative to bring closer introspection and investigation. As a result, the Sikh Museum Initiative will focus on locating and uncovering relics and documents which binds the two communities together. This national programme will leave a lasting legacy for future generations so that second generation Sikhs will understand the close relationship that exists.

2015-present
The 3D model project was originally envisaged in 2015 and the first object-The Chariana was released in 2016. In 2017 we showcased several other models of the Koh-i-Noor diamond in the exhibition: Anglo Sikh Wars Battles, Treaties and Relics. In 2018 we started on the Anglo Sikh Virtual Museum where we have added to the collection from private and public collections. The 3D museum is used throughout the world in schools, colleges and Universities as well as by museum practitioners. We have been cited in publications and featured in media as the first ground breaking 3D Sikh Museum in the world.
