Join Royal Armouries Curator of Oriental Collections, Natasha Bennett, Gurinder Singh Mann of The Sikh Museum Initiative and Taran Singh, of Taran3d as they showcase three Sikh objects that have been rendered in stunning 3D.
This project aims to bring these treasures to life in amazing detail and make them more accessible for new and wider audiences in a virtual museum. Natasha, Gurinder and Taran will talk about the history of the objects, their importance in Sikh culture and the process and capabilities of the 3D scans.
This fascinating process uses cutting-edge techniques to re-imagine museum objects as visually stunning digital pieces.

Natasha Bennett Curator of Oriental Collections at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.These include an enormous spread of arms and armour mostly dating from between the 14th and 20th centuries.
Gurinder Singh Mann, Historian and Director of the Sikh Museum Initiative. Author of three books on Sikh scriptures and history.
Taran Singh, Taran is an expert in 3D technologies and has worked as a 3D designer. He runs is own 3d design company called Taran3d.
